What if my budget is too small for an event planner?

An event planner can be helpful even to a client who has a smaller budget.  An event
planner’s job is to help you find the best vendors to fit your needs and your budget. A
planner also helps you save time and money by putting you on the right track from the
initial planning stages.  Even if you can’t afford to retain a planner’s services for your entire
event you can ask about our do it yourself session.  This allows you to sit down with a
planner and get money saving tips and suggestions on how to make your event a success
within your budget.

Is your fee structure based on a flat fee or a percentage?

Blessed Occasions Events uses both fee structures.  We do provide a base fee structure
here on our website in order to allow potential clients an idea of how much our services will
cost.  Please keep in mind that all base level fees can increase by the introduction of
certain factors (budget, destination events, etc.).


What will my initial consultation consist of?

The initial consultation will give you and the planner an opportunity to get to know each
other and see if you can work together as a team.  During this session the planner will
assess the needs for your next event.  The planner will also tell you how they can help
make your event ideas become a reality.  Then you will have some time (if needed) to
think over the ideas that were presented and if you wish to take further steps to retain
event coordination services.

Do you receive gifts or bonuses for referring your clients to certain vendors?

No, we do not.  We have spent many years cultivating a list of vendors who we feel provide
superior goods and services.  Any gifts or discounts offered by vendors are given directly
to our clients and do not benefit Blessed Occasions Events in any way.

Do you book multiple events on the same day?

No, we only book one event per day.  We feel it is important to devote as much time as
possible to our clients on the day of their event.  It is with this mindset, and our mission to
create high quality events, that we do not book more than one event per day.

Do you require a contract?

Yes, in order to retain our services a contract is required.  The contract will outline the
details of your event as well as any services to be performed by Blessed Occasions
Events.
